Starting November 18th all the way through the end of the year, the Cape Fear Festival of Trees will be on display at the N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher! This unique display includes over 50 trees decorated special and beautifully. With the backdrop of the Aquarium, nothing creates more excitement and joy other than this beautiful scene!
This festival was started originally by volunteers to help people within the local community and has become a holiday tradition! The festival is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and tickets must be reserved. The different trees are sponsored by businesses, families, organizations and others. The trees are either decorated by the sponsors themselves, or the volunteers of the event. The festival includes a Memory Dove tree to remember a loved one, including American Flag stickers to remember a veteran, and hand-made wreaths for sale! This is a spectacular event you don't want to miss!
