It's summertime and we are ready to have some fun down in Carolina Beach! The best part about it is that we are celebrating the centennial year of Carolina Beach! So check out some of the fun events coming up this month below!
June 2 + 4:
Venus Fly Trap Installation:
- Spend some time with the Island Arts Council at CB100 Committee at the Carolina Beach Elementary school OR the Carolina Beach Fire Department to help celebrate the installation of beautifully crafted Venus fly trap statues.
- Time: June 2: 1- 1:30 pm, June 4: 11:00- 12:30 pm

June 7+8:
39th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival:
- Get your dancing shoes on and head down to Carolina Beach for a good time with some good music featuring artists like Jim Quick, The Band of Oz, Ballyhoo, and more! Tickets are $35 for each night or get a bundle deal for both nights at $59!
- Time: June 7: Gates open at 10:30 am, June 8: Gates open at 12:30 pm

June 22:
"A sense of place" Screening:
- Join the Carolina Arts Museum as they watch a powerful documentary created by Rhonda Bellamy all about the coastal heritage of African American men and women in the historic community of Seabreeze.
- Location: Carolina Arts Museum
- Time: 2:00-3:30 pm

June 28:
BluWater Bikini Bash:
- Come help the Carolina Beach Police Foundation raise some $$ to get a K9 Officer at the BluWater Beach Bash! There will be raffles, live music, costume contests, great food, and even a runway competition. Come out and join the fun for a great cause!

- Time: 10 am
